Orlando, FL, The Central Florida Force of The Basketball League announced an new non-profit venture they will be starting in 2023.

The Central Florida Force has just announced the opening of a new non-profit they are working on to help build the community through basketball and financial literacy. The “Path to Success Foundation, Inc” is geared towards creating better outlets for young boys and girls to channel their creativity and get informed about how financial literacy can help give them a fair start in life as they become adults. With this new venture The Force plans to utilize their players as mentors helping keep the city’s children out of the streets and into the gyms, libraries, and other educational facilities.

“Our goal is to help keep the youth motivated and show them they have multiple options to reach success in life and become a contributing member of society.” Says Jacques Pittman, Team Market Owner (TMO) of The Central Florida Force.

Along with his co-TMO’s Dr. Shalonda Hill and Sean Mills the group plans to create a better all around environment for the youth to grow and try new things. The Force will be starting their inaugural season in The Basketball League (TBL) next month. You can watch The Force live on tbltv.tv/force take on the competition as they work towards winning “The Lillie” Championship Trophy this year.
